Family ski weekend at Hatsvali: 24-25 January
Discounted family passes, free gear try-outs for kids, and a snow-sculpting contest at the base.
Hatsvali is quieter than Gudauri or Bakuriani, and the resort is leaning into that for a dedicated family weekend. Family passes (two adults plus up to three children) are 30 percent off; a demo tent at the base lets kids try shaped skis and a few junior snowboards without a rental deposit.
Saturday afternoon from 14:00 the children's school runs a snow-sculpting contest with prizes for ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13. Entries judged by two of the resort's instructors.
Mestia's two main hotels have a 15 percent discount for the weekend if you book directly and mention the family weekend.
