Driver meetup in Batumi for the Goderdzi season
Twenty-two drivers running the Batumi-Goderdzi route sat down in October to align on winter standards.
The road up to Goderdzi is the most consequential winter drive in Georgia's commercial transfer network. We hosted a meetup in Batumi this October with twenty-two of the drivers who regularly run the route — including every driver on our platform.
Topics: minimum chain and tyre standards (studded or full winter M+S, chains carried from Khulo), the shared radio frequency for pass closures, communication templates in all three languages for passengers when the road is held, and child-seat availability.
We also agreed a maximum operating temperature of -22°C at the pass. Below that, departures are postponed to the next clear window and passengers are offered reschedule or refund without a fee.
