Tetnuldi upper chair returns to service after full overhaul
The chair that unlocks Tetnuldi's advanced bowls has new drive motors, swapped grips and a cleared evacuation line.
The upper chair had been limping through two seasons with intermittent faults. The resort pulled it offline in April and spent six months on a full overhaul: new drive motors from Doppelmayr's Austrian plant, every grip taken off and re-pressed, and the hike-out track below the line cleared and marked.
The chair reopens 20 December alongside Tetnuldi's season start. With it, the top three bowls are open from day one — in previous seasons they often waited for late January.
Avalanche control on the north-east aspect has been added to the resort patrol's daily sweep.
