Winter transfers to Stepantsminda now run every two hours
From 1 December through 31 March, our Tbilisi-Kazbegi shuttle moves to a two-hourly departure between 06:00 and 18:00.
Demand on the Tbilisi-Kazbegi route grew 40 percent last winter — mostly day-trippers from Tbilisi for Gergeti Trinity Church and the Dariali Gorge. We are moving from four daily departures to a two-hourly cadence between 06:00 and 18:00 for the main winter season.
The return legs mirror the outbound: departures from Stepantsminda every two hours between 08:00 and 20:00. Same price as the current schedule, but you can now walk up to the pickup point in Tbilisi without a booking if seats are free.
We recommend booking anyway on weekends and around holidays; vehicles filled on short notice in February 2026 twice.
