New wine bar on Bakuriani's main street for après-ski
A small qvevri-focused bar poured its first glasses in September; wood stove, 14 seats and a tight list of Kakhetian producers.
The bar is run by a family from Sighnaghi who spent two winters working at Didveli and decided the village needed somewhere between a loud après club and a formal restaurant. The space is small — fourteen seats around a tiled wood stove — and the wine list fits on one laminated card.
Food is a short board of walnut churchkhela, dried persimmon, Guda cheese and oven-warm shoti. No cocktails, no spirits; the owners say they would rather do one thing properly.
Open 16:00 to midnight, closed Tuesdays. Walk-ins only, no reservations.
